Sport is the winner.
Great, great fight. I'd take Jirov, by the edge of late power and doing slightly tidier work. But either way it's just too damn close to argue. I'd be happy saying they'd win one each and draw the rubber match of a fantastic trilogy.

Mormeck let his fans pick him a nickname. That gives him the edge in this fight.

Damn.
All I know is it would be fought in the trenches for most of the time. Jirov would probably hold the edge on the outside though, which might make the difference in the overall outcome.
It's tough to say though. Jirov could be hurt and/or outworked a bit, but so could Mormeck apparently. It's a great fight.
Jirov by decision in a brutal fight

Jirov by late stoppage after an ugly brutal amazing war.
Jirov's workrate and under appreciated skills would be the edge although I can see Mormeck busting his ass early on
by about 7 Mormeck slows a bit and Jirov's stamina at cruiser as well as his skills take over tiring JMM.
by 10 he is all but gassed but still landing the occasional clean shot. It's not enough as Jirov puts on the heat

Man, I really hope the real JMM pulls it together in the rematch and fucks Bell up.
That has to be the quickest bandwagon crash ever. I'm still on even though I've been waiting on the side of the road waiting for AAA to come forever.

Mormeck is still the man. Don King just refuses to let him in the ring ever. I watched Bell-Mormeck again recently for fun, and damn, JMM got tagged in the brainstem a fuck of a lot.
