Great style contrast, Mancini was a bit overrated in his time and has become somewhat underrated through time. The guy could fight and was tough as fuck. Paul had the vintage Kronk style with the jab followed by the cross before Manny turned to jab and clutch. The Ringmaster fell off pretty quickly after losing to another Youngstown Boy. But he had plenty of skills.

I gotta say Michigan> Ohio, Paul by close decision surviving a late Mancini surge, who ya like?

You're right about Mancini, too. Over-estimated then, too-forgotten today. He was pretty game against Arguello, who, at that point, was in monster-mode.
