I have no idea what this show is or when it airs (or who this girl is) but after these pics it's on my must-watch list. In fact, it's already my new favorite show.

That scene with Sal and Don was heart breaking. Beautifully acted on both parts. The expression in Sal's face said it all, and Don's line - "you people" - damn!

This show does such a fantastic job of developing characters that the smallest gesture can can send you for a loop. For example, the scene from two episodes ago, with Pete sitting on his coach, eating cereal and watching cartoons, giggling like a child. It meant nothing, but it was such a departure for him that it was striking.

I wonder what future Joan and Sal have on the show. It'd show major balls on the part of the writers to let them go, especially Joan.

They should have these photos next to "stacked" in the dictionary.

Her name's Christina Hendricks. She had a bit role in Firefly when it was on. And she is a hottie.

ah fuck me, there goes my shot with her . I heard she actually just got married last week (yes, I wikipedia'd her as soon as I found out her name and googled her to see if she had any nude scenes anywhere - and she does not unfortunately, at least that I could find).

related to this show, I checked out 1 episode on On Demand and it wasn't bad. Unfortunately it picks up in the middle of Season 3, so I might have to just jump in from there. oh yeah and the redhead wasn't even in the episode except for 1 second.

This week is the Best EVER! Wifey throwing down with mistress waiting out in the yard and she don't know...ain't even over yet.

A lady friend recommended this show to me about a week ago, and I remembered this thread and since you mentioned Sopranos I thought it was a show about organized crime.

She told me what it was about and it sounded interesting.

So is the first season any good?

I'll have to agree with this, definitely the best episode yet. I'm looking forward to the last 2 eps of the season.

I couldn't hold out any longer and I got caught up with the whole season over the last week. I'm in agreement on last night - best episode yet, and that's saying a lot.

Don dropping the ciggie was fucking-eh moment in the show's short history, as well as a testament as to how well these characters are built and nurtured. Everything we know about Don can be summed up in his Bondesque portrayal and the way he makes smoking look like a style choice less than a habit. His fumbling that smoke was all we needed to know that the facade of "Don Draper" had finally been shattered. It added to an already insanely tense scene.
