What do you make of Corrales' punch? Could it be a game-breaker in this one?

His punch could break anybody. But Erik was tough as they come and I think he actually could hurt Chico easier than the other way around at 130. Plus, I'm a Morales nuthugger and that makes him clearly unbeatable in a war of attrition.

This might ask a lot of him, though. I am leaning toward Morales' ability over Corrales' size & power, but I could be persuaded against that.

It definitely asks a lot. Erik was much better from the outside than Corrales. Chico would need it to be an infight and Erik can fight in there as well. Diego would probably have to stop him and though he certainly was capable of doing just that, that is also asking a lot.

Honestly, I think the only guy Mark's ever picked against Morales ever is Arguello. This is a close fight, and if there was another man who could drop Erik at 130 other than Pac, it's Corrales. Still, Erik uses his tools better than Chico does, and at 130, he's the savvy veteran who'd use every trick he has to come out on top in a war. Still, it will be violent, oh yes.

I would pick Tyrone Everett over him.

I think there was some talk of this for about five seconds when Morales first announced he was moving up. Erik's accuracy would be hell for Chico on the outside. But Diego's short super punches would be hell for Morales the minute he went to war (which at some point he most certainly would). I lean towards Erik, but in ten fights they probably go like 6-4 (10).

i cant decide on this fight. armageddon
