Joshua Clottey vs. Ike Quartey - 12 rounds for the distinction of being the best Ghanaian welterweight of the last few decades
Miguel Cotto vs. Felix Trinidad - 12 rounds for the distinction of being the best Puerto Rican welterweight of the last few decades

I think Benitez toys with Trinidad and beats Cotto closer, but I would take Tito by KO and Ike by close dec.

Yes, Benitez, on-song, would do a number on both Trinidad & Cotto.
Amongst these matches, however, I don't think we'll see much variation in response.
Trinidad & Quartey would certainly succeed.

It's a shame Ike and Tito never faced off. Two of the top 5 welters of the 90s. I think Tito would have beaten him, but close. Ike was a bad man.

I never got into Ike. I think Clottey fights him a lot tougher than this thread is making it out too.
Of course Clottey also takes portions of the fight off and loses a UD, but he would be there to fight.

I think Clottey gives Ike an interesting fight. They are both strong, Quartey has more firepower and heavier hands.
Cotto doesnt see 8 rounds against Trinidad.

I've come to realize that I simply see a different fighter in Miguel Cotto than does the rest of the world. Therefor, Like Chris with JMM it's probably best I just abstain from discussing him. However, Clottey beats Ike in a close one, and even I think Tito probably beats Cotto.
...But Cotto beats Benitez. Fuck a sim.

Ike wins a close but clear decision against Clottey and Tito goes down early and comes back to stop Cotto brutally in 8 or 9 rounds.

Tito would beat Cotto something awful. Bad style matchup imo.
