As prime heavyweights.

Holyfield would be the bigger man for a change. Coming in around 205-08lbs. Walcott around 197-200lbs.

Both were underated as bangers and both could box. Walcott was very elusive and crafty. His footwork was something you dont see very often. His feints, his constant motion, his sneaky power.

Everybody knows Holyfield brings speed, combinations, good power and the biggest heart known.

Is this a good style for Holyfield to face and vice versa?

It's a very difficult style for Holyfield to face, actually. Walcott, on an all-time scale, falls short of Holyfield, but, head-to-head, this could get very, very close.

Outside shot Holyfield can come on (ala against Cooper) & stop Walcott, but if he can't, he's going to find a craftier foe than Moorer.

My head says Holyfield close on points. This could swing, though.

I see Holyfield taking this one by KO or TKO. Walcott was a very good fighter, but Holyfield's chin was better by a long shot. Jersey Joe would trouble Holyfield early with his craftiness, and I can see him hurting and possibly dropping Holyfield in the fight. But Holyfield would be the busier fighter and down the stretch I think he'd either KO or TKO Walcott.

Walcott is a more complete fighter. Quick, crafty, and can pull a big shot out of nowhere. The issue for him is standing up to Holyfield's offense. I think Evander can afford to take more punches in this fight, and I'd expect him to catch Jersey Joe during one of the many, many exchanges, and go for the finish. Holyfield's speed as a young man was top notch as well, which makes me pretty confident in this particular match-up.

Thats pretty accurate.

Quiet as a churchmouse around here these past few days.

The whole Norton-Holyfield-Walcott triangle, IMO, makes for some of the hardest match-ups among ex-Heavyweights to accurately predict.
