I heard someone say there's an existing fantasy league on Max but not sure of its status...

so with less than 4 wks until the beginning of NFL season, I wanted to gauge interest for a new redraft league. Anyone who wants in, and has any suggestions, please reply in this thread. We'll see how many we get, and work out the details from there if we get enough people.

also if you have a specific date or time you can or can't draft, let it be known, because I assume we would do a live online draft.

Yeah, that's because it's been like pulling teeth to get people here to play fantasy football, we never seem to have the problem with fantasy basketball.

i mean we could just try to start up a new one if we can get at least 8. preferably 10-12, and if it could consist of active posters here...that would be ideal for trash talk and what have you. but we still got some time. don't tell me there aren't 10 people on here who would play.

i dont care i can set it up....not trying to step on toes, just anxious to get things going!

There is an existing league. I ran it last year, and will be doing so again this year. I just wanted to give last year's teams a chance to sign up before deleting last year's teams and inviting new ones.

I mentioned this last year and will do so again now - please only sign up if you plan on filling out your line-up throughout the season. It's no fun playing against a team that quits after week 2.

Last year's teams that have not responded have been deleted. There were 5 spots available... pocoroba just sent me a PM with his e-mail to sign up, so that means 4 spots left. Should we quickly fill up to 12 teams, I'll expand to 14.

As of right now, we've got 10 teams signed up, with 4 invites having been sent. I think that is a good number, so I'm going to cap the league at 14 teams.

According to the league message board, the draft is this Sunday night at 8:30 Eastern. I also have a draft on Friday. Time to start researching.

- I was just checking the league settings, and i wanted to be clear on something - how many players are in the starting lineup? it says 11. 1 QB, 2 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 utility player (can be QB?), 1 K, 1 DEF. Is that correct? so it's a QB and 7 position players?

The player slots sound about right. I'm going to be drafting tomorrow, even though I might miss the very beginning.

No, I removed the limit before the draft as it was suggested that with only 4 bench spots, there was no need for it.
