The Ice Man was hailed as the second coming of Hearns and as a result is a bit overlooked now. he was pretty solid and presents a lot of physical problems for Cotto. miguel would have to press and work the body. If he backs up he has no chance.
Who wins?

Cotto would win this one. Decision or TKO. He's better than Milt.
IF you wannt make this thread fun......
It's one of those fight you just wish would happen today but,
I would bet anyone that Mark Breland would fuck Cotto up in a bad way.
You have to pay attention to range and not just reputation or whatever.
I have zero doubt that Beland could destroy Cotto with a right hand.
Moochie Starling was a much better defender and a little taller and longer armed than Cotto, and he was killed in that first fight.
Not a chance in fuck Cotto lasts the distance.
It's basically Hearns but Cotto would last longer.
Breland was pretty good. I've analyzed it lots and Cotto would have no choice but to walk into that rihgt hand with a head low.
There's nothing he could do. No head movement...Mark would get off quicker, and Cotto would have alot of work to do to close the distance.
Cotto is a good fighter. Some guys are just bad for him.

McCrory gave Mike Mccallum hell, he was as good as Breland. Provides the same dimensions and Milt was probably a bit more durable. I honestly think cotto would beat either of them.
