I'm almost done giving money to, or giving a shit about the NFL. I never thought I'd say that, but it's starting to reflect the fake offended, overly p.c. element of our society that I can't stand.
"I'm so offended, Chad Johnson changed his name."
"I'm so offended, Randy Moss did a dance."
Don't hit anyone, remove the physical elements of the game, remove the emotion from the game, and make sure to fine players even if they're actions weren't penalized. It's all bullshit. Someone like Ronnie Lott or the guy in my sig would be fined or blackballed out of the league.
Goodell is structuring the NFL to be the morality police. He's creating a micromanaged over officiated organization consisting of 5 crap teams, 25 8-8 teams, and a couple of marquee big market teams with posterboy QB's. It makes sense from a business standpoint (merchandising, gambling, fantasy football, viewership etc). Somehow, the Titans have been able to fight this trend.
The NFL I knew and loved is dead, and it sucks.
/end rant
Guarantee you don't make this post if the Broncos were a winning team this year.

BTW i do agree with Glock. The NFL has taken protecting the QB to a whole new level. Some of those roughing the passer calls are total BS. Justin Tuck said after the game "I guess i have to learn how to twist my body in mid-air, so i don't fall on top of the QB."

He has been horrible so far this year from what I have seen. Eddie Royal abused him in his first game in the NFL. That is not supposed to happen to top cornerbacks.
It could be worth it for a team like the Ravens if they can get him for cheap.

Our secondary is so banged up. Even though we play man. We put a ton of pressure on the QB and have Ed "God" Reed to cover your ass. He might be better in our system.

Both have been out. Rolle is pretty much finished, he hasn't been able to stay on the field for two years. Chris should be back soon but he is getting up there as well.
He already cashed 8 million this year. I can't imagine anyone is going to give him a long term deal in the middle of the season. he should come cheap for the remainder of the year.

I meant "when are they expected back?" I know Rolle is passed it but is still a solid starter on any team. when healthy(Titans bias maybe?). If Hall clears waivers he may have his pick of playoff contenders to play for, If I were in charge I wouldnt get into a bidding war over him.
How do the Ravens, Steelers and Bucs continue to have outstanding linebackers year after year? Is it Lewis and Brooks' presence in Bal. and TB and the system in Pitt?

It's Ray in Baltimore. Guys like Hartwell & Sharper make the Pro Bowl, get paid and turn to shit. Rolle is good when he plays. But that isn't often and he there really isn't much of a timetable. Chris may play this week.

Rumor is Javon Walker is next.
I really do feel bad for JaMarcus Russel, kid has SO much fucking talent and physical ability, but he is constantly being forced to learn new offenses and deal with some of the stupidest, and in Davis' case, senile, minds in football. What a waste.

Wow. Circle that Donkey/Faider game on the calendar. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise that game as NFL football. Quinn looks good, but you could start Ryan Leaf against Denver's defense and he'd have like a 139 QB rating.

Color me surprised by that little female Winslow Jr. stepping up and playing very well tonight. Quinn looks pretty solid tonight too, but it's kinda tough to say considering the way Denver has been playing D tonight. Either way he's made some really good chucks under a bit of pressure.

Hillis could end up being the Broncos starting back the rest of the year with all the injuries in their backfield. He might actually be the best of the group anyway after seeing him run so hard yesterday.
DeAngelo Hall signed a one year deal with the Redskins.

Winslow: Nice game until that 4th and 1 that was right in your hands. Go break your other leg.
Hey Mr. 22 cornerback guy: If you don't know the play and get beat, don't try to break up the pass WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE THE BALL. Also, it's better to give up 30 yards than 93. Please catch picks that are right in your hands. P.S. I hate you. k, thnx.

McCallister being out for the year is a problem. But Joe is really coming to life. Rice has turned into a real solid back up. We are putting up a shitload of points.
I was WAY wrong about Flacco & Ryan. They are both the real deal.
