that was the only good thing i've seen from BET in over a decade. I'm surprised they played that.

Sure doesn't hurt having primo on the 1's and 2's...

Soulja boy? Damn dude u must be a youngsta..... you are right when you say that is "hip hop." thats all that is.
I listen to RAP Tupac, Biggie, Eazy E, Bone Thugz (back in the day) That to me is "real rap." I know yall probably hadnt heard of SPM aka South Park Mexican, but this is also "rap." Listen to the lyrics, and if you can feel him, yall need to stick with Soulja Boy and that "Walk it out" BS!!!!!!! crutches.gif LOL

Yet alone hasnt heard of Ugly Percent or Tunnel Rats(which isnt a big deal)but when you try to clown me about mexican rappers dont front on Xolocinco, physcho realm etc etc. Poncho- get in where you fit in, dont clown on people. I wouldnt do it to you. I keep my mouth shut when I dont know whats crackin.

On the coo, I wasnt tryin to talk shit to nobody or disrespect nobody, just posted a comment, and that was it. Y'all took it to a whole different level.

Joell Ortiz is the truth, I just hope Papoose and Saigon deliver with their debuts as well.I have no doubt that Saigon will, but I have my doubts with Papoose.I think he might be like Cassidy when it comes to stepping up the game from mixtapes to lp's.

When it comes to mexican Rap, I don't really have clue. The only two groups I know from there are Control Machete and Molotov. And I'm not sure if you can label the latter hip hop.

That was sick.. Good find. Joell Ortiz is nice. Cassidy came at that track kind of weak.

Ortiz is nice, no doubt. Sean P is the ghostface killah of the bootcamp click. he's been doing it for a long time, consistently. Really, that's unfair to comare him to Ortiz, imo.

Yeah he been in the game for a decade now dropping well regarded lp's with Heltah Skeltah and Bootcamp Clik so there's really no comparison with a young up&comer like Joell.

This is one funny vid from his 'new' lp http://youtube.com/watch?v=SkctfraZcYE

I don't understand the criticism here, because as far as I know he has always pointed out how much ice on his wrist he's got and how many units he sold this year. That's basically always part of his freestyles.

Well that says allot about how much lyrical depth he possesses doesn't it?

I don't understand your post as I said he was on some different stuff while rapping with the others, and you basically said Cassidys subject matter is the same all the time. You supported what I said.

Why wouldn't anybody criticise a rapper that is one dimensional?
Darxide
Well, to be fair, I wasn't really expecting Cassidy to spit anything other than what he normally does. He was just a tad out of his element, is all. Having said that, his verse was weak, and its easy to rap about that stuff, so he came off looking lame.

Nevermind, I probably misunderstood you then.

It came off like y'all were disappointed with Cassidy while I, like Keyza, didn't expect anything else from Kid Cassidy than mildly entertaining battle ish.
