Anyway today I completed my work here, I have to come back to make sure things work tommorrow and then I'm out wednesday. I'll probably go out one last time time tomorrow night and see if I can catch one more springer breaker or mexicanita chick before I go.
Oh and to my suprise Jose is Pepe here, so I been stuck with that name my whole week in Cancun. It was weird getting called Pepe at first, but I'm used to it now.
Senor Pepe
Sounds like you had an excellent mini-vacation, my friend.

I
love the Yucatan. Pretty hard not to have a good time there.
Man, oh man...so the new baby's first night with us was just now. Yeah, it's 2:37 in the morning, but I expected this. Infants, no matter the species, do not equal sleep for adults. He's a right little hellion - not afraid of ANYTHING; not the dogs, not Miss Kitty, nothing. Petey has been fabulous with him - she's in love. He chases her around, making that Jawa-sounding baby growl/bark, and she lets him nibble on her. Mack is interested, but when the baby charges him and gurgles at him, Mack thinks the kid doesn't like him, gets his feelings hurt and flees. Even Stink has been very good, and I was bit concerned about that, as he does not take to new dogs without a bit of grumbling. He might not recognize the kid as a 'dog', since it's the tiniest critter he's ever seen other than kittens.
Miss Kitty is baffled and wary. I believe she has met her match, lol! The baby ran at her to play...well, fell all over his feet, I mean, and she didn't even try to smack him. She bolted for her cat door.
Thank the GODS for small favors, at 8 weeks old, Chewie will
not poop in the house. He 'asks' to be let out. Pee is another matter - as all pups do, he just lets that fly whenever he needs to go.
He's sleeping right now - Petey made sure to lay down close by, so she could keep an eye out over him. He's gonna have her in shape in no time flat; she's already expended more energy playing in the past 7 hours, than she has in three months. He's coming to work with me today - like Petey did, probably every day for a few months, or until he can't squeeze under the bottom gap in the fence.
