Yeah I love Muscle Cars too. The old Buick GS was a pretty cool Muscle as well that wasnt as well known. Nobody thinks about Buick when they think of performance but those things were pretty damn quick. I think they were close to as fast as the old Hemi`s.

On the Mopar side I always loved the stance of the original Challenger.

Hang onto it. Once they discontinue the Corvette {very soon} it will be something that may increase in value in a few years.

First of all, I bought one of these last weekend. It's been a fun week. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Second, electric cars are gay. But if I would get one it would be a Tesla.

Ooh, very nice. I can't decide whether I like the styling or not, but the 350Z was so perfect it's hard to improve.

612 bhp rated from the factory. 0-60 in 4.4 seconds with every possible luxury, handles like a sports car.

They actually program some of the torque OUT to keep the car manageable.

Teslas are gay. Okay, not gay, but derivitave..straight up they lifted the body work, nothing like cutting edge batteries and have a sky high price. I'd take a Fisker IF I was in that kind of market (which I'm not).

What car mags do y'all get? Car mag subscriptions just fully get given away on the regular on freestufftimes. I get Car & Driver, Motor Trend, Automobile, Autoweek, Road & Track...none of which I pay for.

Help me buy a new car? Okay, I have to be able to put in a minimum of two adults, two kids, two dogs (weighing about 140lbs) and it has to be able to tow at least my 2200lb pop up trailer and it must have AWD or 4WD. Gas mileage is important. I'd love to buy something less than 5 years old and spend no more then 20K. I have my own list of vehicles on my radar, but give me ideas/suggestions.

The 370 is superior in every way IMHO. Nice scoot.

I was very put off by the 370z in pics until I saw it in person at a car show, then in motion in the commercial.

Now, look at the 350 & 370 parked side by side and it's really no contest. My shit is just meaner, more athletic.

Yeah I gotta keep the rpms low for the first 1000 miles. Haven't really stretched out its legs yet. I'm taking some long road trips the next couple of weekends so I can get to 1000 asap. Then off to some twisty hills I go. Maybe Hwy 1 on a nice sunny day.

We got a call one morning to respond to a cat caught in a car.

turned out it was sleeping in the engine of a van and when the guy started it up to go to work, the cat got all tangled up in the fan belt.

One leg was savagely mangled yet it was still fighting like a bastard when we tried to free it. Had to put gloves and a tunic on because it was still trying to fight and bite.

We finally got it out and it hobbled in to the garden. So we took it back to the station and euthanised it. Tough cat.

I just fuked my own car up this morning. I had to try and get it out of the garage because I needed to tow it somewhere and as soon as it started to roll I wasnt fast enough or alert enough to close the door in time before it caught on to the garage door rail. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headshaker.gif)

The sound of the fiberglass crumbling was awful but I cant blame anybody but myself. Im a dumb SOB.

The top edge of the drivers door is messed up but it doesnt look that bad to the outside observer. It was small enough that I was able to put a piece of electrical tape over it for now so it covered the spot that is damage. You can see the fiberglass inside.

Maybe a body shop can put something on it and put some touch up paint over it but right now I am the biggest asshole in the world.

Asshole= ETM. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

It has a rear end seal leaking from the differential. Its only got about 40K on it but its been sitting in the garage for a couple of months so I thought it was time to get it fixed for summer. Its a vert so I wanted to be able to drive it in the nice weather.

I should have waited for the driver to show up and help me push it out of the garage. I dont have any patience. Its just cosmetic but its still blows when you do it to your own car.

Here's my Aussie muscle car (with American grunt.)

It's a 1976 Holden Monaro GTS.

It runs a 350 Chev.

Admittedly this model, the GTS, is a bit garish, but it has the performance to back it up.

I'd be interested in hearing some non-Australian opinions. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

so far I have installed a 425 hp, 540 ft/lbs 455 engine and turbo 400 auto. It hauls ass.

Just put a 383 stroker in the Buick last week and I'm sending the Vette back. Either going to get a Camaro vert with a 400 or a 370 vert. We'll see what GM says because if they fuck me on the Vette, (I'm going to say I want no charge for going 1000 over the 36k miles I paid for and I want a deal on the Camaro) I will go to Nissan.

You do know that the 370 roadster doesn't come out til next year? Only the coupe is out now, the current convertible offering is still the 350

I was smokin. It comes out this summer.

I predict they will make a t-top before the run is over, a la the 300zx. and it will be pretty.
