It's probably the most harsh form of entertaining there is, if you're an actor you always play someone else, and if you're having an off night then there's always the rest of the cast there to support you. In stand-up it's just you, the mic and the audience. If you die on your arse, like all comedians do at some point, you're on your own. I know it's easy for me to say but you should give it a bash once and see if it feels right. |
