What good my maxboxing brothers it's been a while so let me say I missed you guys now with that out the way
what happen to this place?

so this fight what you guys think I think Cotto stops him on body shots Martinez has looked like crap in his last fight was it a ploy to fish a big fight ? who knows but I was never sold on this
guy he caught the right guys at the right time IMO

It speaks volumes that team Cotto chose him over Canelo and they said cause that is the easier fight
A little worried about the weight for Miguel but it's in the Garden his last hurah and I will be there maybe the last big fight in NY for a long while

It's a pickem.  I think Cotto is, and always has been, better.  But I also think Martinez can punch Cotto's lights out with the right opening.  Really interesting fight.

I don't agree that Cotto has always been better. He's more entertaining, he's got a better resume, won and lost against bigger names, but Sergio has different attributes.

Roach and Cotto are trying to duplicate Pacquiao-De La Hoya.  If Sergio is shot, they might be able to, but I think more likely Martinez wins comfortably.

I see Sergio out punching and out-witting Cotto.  I am not a fan of Martinez, but the guy has a style that only bigger fighters can control.  Would be nice to see Cotto clock Martinez, but I just don't see it happening.

Sergio has slipped but not as far as Cotto. Sergio is the bigger better man at this point. SM gets the TKO Sometime after 7.

I forgot what weight they were fighting in.

Sergio looked bad in his last fight, but it depends on the wieght limit for this one

Sergio look bad against B-Level oppinents but generally brings his A game when it comes to big name / big fights.  He'll be on his A game with Cotto.  See Sergio winning by good length.

2 of my fav fighters.  Looking forward to this match up.

Very much looking forward to this fight.  If Martinez wins I want to see him fight Mayweather.

Martinez is done. He has a better chance of dating Cotto than beating him at this point.

Let's not get carried away. It was a great win, Cotto's best win, but it's also the first A fighter he ever beat.

that is debatable.  I cant see mosley beating paul Williams or pavlik.

kinda sad seeing a champion stumble around like that. that was the definition of somebody getting old overnight. roach, as a former boxer who was a spent bullet at the end of his career, i guess knows all the signs of a "fnished" fighter.  too bad he was wrong with marquez though.

Ask Margarito who was better.  And now Cotto.

That was the most blatant cash-out of a damaged champion since Spinks-Tyson
