Indeed.

I'm glad we are at least getting fights locally on a consistent basis but HDC was greatness. Outdoor arena. Not a bad seat in the house. Good location.

Hold the F up E. I know its been awhile but, is there anything to it, besides there hasent been anything there in ages? If its truly done being a boxing venue, its a gigantic shame.

from what I heard from people who work or know people at AEG they are REALLY pushing LA Live as the be all end all venue for all things in LA in terms of entertainment and they have deliberatly kept boxing out of HDC and channeled it to the Nokia Theater which has about the same amount of seats. The reason they are doing this is that they are trying really hard to stay out of the red at LA Live until the new hotel is built and all the stores are open

not sure if its dead but you probably won't see a lot of boxing at HDC for a while

Fuck. I can understand in the winter and spring (Carson can get cold) but in the summer it's like the L.A. version of the old Ceasers Palace fights.

Thank You everyone - the matchmaker (E.Gomez) said he was putting my name in the hat. And so ive been hoping for the Best.

Its my understanding that it all depends on Team Espinoza's is willingness to accept it.

I'd like to see Al get the fight too. Izzy is my guy, no doubt about that, but a class guy like Al deserves a crack at the big time. And it would definitely be a fun fight to watch. Either way, I'm just glad the man himself is finally coming back. I'm anxious to see how he looks, no doubt rusty as all hell.
