I know he's more elusive, got good footwork, and doesn't just wade in like Hercules, but I think he's vulnerable on the inside to Hopkins.  He tends to leave his chin exposed.  Prime Hopkins exploits that with uppercuts, works the non-bulletproof parts of his body armor until Batman is either no longer able to continue or loses the championship rounds and the fight decisively.

Batman has bullet proof armor, knives, guns, gadgets and shit that can make him fly.

Hopkins has right hands, faints, headbutts, low blows and fucked up teeth.

Having that said, I'll take batman.

Batman (comic book version) must outweigh him by 30-50 pounds.

His knowledge of grappling styles will mean that Hopkins will never be able to be inside for too long.

Hopkins gives a good account of himself, but the larger, more, armored, and more diversely skilled man wins in the end.

I'm taking this thread seriously...

In boxing terms, Batman is Roy Jones with Bernard Hopkins skills. The only way this is competitive is if Batman and Hopkins are both 43. By then all the crime fighting may have worn on the Dark Knight enough that Hopkins has a slim chance.

The fact is, a 43 year old man really cant be in any better shape then Bernard Hopkins is. I would wager there very well may not be another gentleman his age, in the world at this moment, that is in Bernard's shape. So in this case if Batman and Hopkins at age 43 are relative matches in athleticism, the caped crusader has the advantage of being a master of virtually all known forms of hand to hand combat. Unless Bat's old back injury is rearing it's ugly head, or the several thousand scars on his body start to open up, I think the Batman takes it.

Batman got a tip about Black fighters don't like it to the body.
Batman is just another rich white guy trying to be cool with his gadgets.
He is afraid of the black man,He pretends to be him with his cool outfit!

Hopkins kicks the shit out of Burton's Batman, kills Schumacher's Batman and takes a narrow decision over Nolan's.

lol, this is old but I have not seen it before. You forget that Batman was in his Mid 50' (56 I think) for the Dark Night Returns comic and he kicked Superman's ass. Let see Bernard or any golfer do that shit.

Superman is basically Sam Peter on steroids.  Ali took it to him years ago.  I would pick Bernard against him too.
