Floyd by wide decision.  Canelo bites his tongue off after getting hit with yet another uppercut he didn't see coming.

well yes
in the the many dialects of the Nahuatl language belonging to the Nahuan branch of the Uto-Aztecan language family, and form a group of linguistic varieties spoken in central Mexico it actually translates into "the one who dissociates from capitalistic pigs from north of the border".

I voted for Floyd, but I think the fight will be competitive. Canelo won't be active enough, but he will pose a threat whenever he throws his punches. I wouldn't mind seeing Canelo win, though. That will be a monumental upset.

People are always blinded by size advantage. Canelo doesn't have hands of stone and he sure as shit can't out box floyd.

I see several very possible scenarios that will grant a rematch $$$, considering the river of $$$ that this fight has generated. If either fighter wins a close decision, a draw, or a controversial ending. But on this one I think Canelo is pulling an upset, he is not going to try to kiss Money

That's a good observation, Canelo tends to fight in spurts, but I got the feeling that this fight is THE FIGHT of his life, and he is going to be more active, not dumb aggressive ala Guerrero or Ortiz, but he is going after Money's body and if he throws more than usual, he can pull an upset.

Not competitive.  Wide UD for Mayweather.
Has anyone outside DLH had a reach advantage over Floyd?

Floyd UD 117-111, 116-112, 117-111.

Canelo starts out aggressively, eats a few right hand leads and counters and then he backs off and his output goes way down. Mexican volume puncher he's not and he's not a guy that's going to initiate a firefight. Floyd is happy to oblige his passiveness and picks him apart in the pocket. Canelo follows him around for 8 or 9 rounds.

Which is exactly why I said Matthyse is more spectacular than Canelo. I think some of you have let the buzz get to you. Tonight is a rather easy win for Floyd.

Canelo beating Floyd, because it is less likely.

Floyd decision.

I think the fight will seem closer than it is, just because Canelo's (awful) style will keep rounds close, and he won't get blown out in them, plus I think Floyd showed his biggest signs of slippage in the Guerrero fight, but when you look at your scorecard you'll be surprised to notice you have 8 or 9 rounds going to Floyd.  Canelo's just not that good. I think Floyd might walk into a counter and maybe make things interesting for 30 seconds, but that's about it.  It'll be Floyd landing enough right hand leads to win rounds while a million plus casual boxing fans wonder why Canelo isn't throwing punches back.

Canelo is infinitely more popular than Marquez. That would be the real reason. He's the most popular Boxer in Mexican history as far as TV ratings go.

This sounds right ! Canelo doesn't have a high work rate to begin with......I see him being super cautious once Mayweather starts hitting him. Canelo's stamina is another drawback. Floyd will have plenty of time to relax and think in the ring. I don't see Canelo changing his MO dramatically for this fight. His best shot would be to pressure and be very aggressive but that's not in his nature.  Hope Matthyse knocks out Angel Garcia :)   http://www.reverbnation.com/damnwicked

Since, like you said, that's not in his nature, I think his best shot is landing a monstrous counter punch that changes/ends the fight.  I think Floyd's age has made catching him in an exchange easier.  Ghost was just short a few times early.  Rewatching that fight, Floyd looked pretty shitty early.  I didn't notice that live.
