Prod, that was Rainbow after Ronnie James Dio left and they went AOR (Graham Bonnent sings on that album, Joe Lynn Turner the next few). I suggest if you want to hear the real Rainbow, get the Dio stuff (Rising, Long Live Rock and Roll). You have to have heard "Man on the Silver Mountain" or "Stargazer" at some point in your life right? The is Rainbow. Especially StarGazer which is the best Metal song pre 1980 of all time.

Agree with Rode, the RnR HOF is a joke, a money grab. But I'm happy as long as Kiss' exclusion rankles Gene Simmons, that fucking hack.

The vocals and music are cool. The passion with which he sings about lightning and flying dragons is so funny it should have been on Beavis and Butthead or at least VH1 Pop Up Video.

Jeff Lynne has more musical talent in his left earlobe than every post in this thread combined.

If you watch Roy Orbison perform Running Scared and don't say something like, "Holy shit!" at the end, you have no soul and your mother should be ashamed of you.

Kill The King, Gates of Babylon are killer tunes. Among the best stuff Dio ever did. The Sabbath album 'Heaven and Hell' was damn good too!
