2 of 3 on my locks,Rice struggle more then I thought but pulled the upset straight up so moneyliners get extra cash flow.  Tech actually ran the ball better then they passed for much of the night and the D looked decent.  Northwestern with the win but no cover, Sutton didnt look as sharp as I had hoped.   All in all a pretty profitable Saturday.

Don't be afraid to post them before the games.

My top picks for this week

1)Rice +150 money line Memphis. When you lose to Ole Miss by 17 and give up 41 points you have major problems. Rice can score as witnessed by the 56 they hung on June Jones' supposed SMU Cinderella team. The Owls win this one straight up as Chase Clement passes for TD's all night long.

2)N'Western-6 Duke. The Wildcats hammered Syracuse not that that means much anymore but Tyrell Sutton is an elite back and will have a big day. Duke is improving but isnt at this level as of yet.

3)Texas Tech - 9.5 Nevada. Tech will score early and often, Nevada will score some but not nearly enough in this one. Graham Harrell wont stop passing until the final whistle, it is what Tech does. Tech covered the spread in all their wins last season but 1.

Who is USC quarterback this year.  Is it finally Mark Sanchez?  Who is this Mitch Mustain character?  did he transfer from another school?  For some reason I thought Booty was going to be back for another season.  Where did he end up?  Cheers.  Have not been really following throwball for a while.

Sanchez is the started.  Mustain transfered in from Arkansas.  Sanchez won the job in preseason and Mustain is buried at number three on the depth chart.  Booty is with the Vikings.

thanks for the info.  I thought Sanchez could have been doing great things for the squad two years ago.  I'll be watching the ohio state matchup next week for sure.

Who is the author of the edited thread caption? Props to you. I actually howled, "up the Aztec" is quite good.

That was a scare, and I'm pretty sure I shouldn't watch another ND game ever again. It causes me physical pain.

I think I drank at least 30 beers yesterday. Me and my buddy started at kickoff and finished after the UFC. I don't know how my gf got me in bed. Not good.

The terps are all up in another joke team from the Pac 10.

This used to be such a huge day. Now it's Michigan vs ND, who sucks more?

At least we have Fresno State-Wisconsin...and BTW this game makes me edgy.  Rutgers looked bad this week, State looked bad in the first half with Rutgers...hopefully that was just first game jitters.  State is 1-1 with the Badgers and both games were tight

Wells getting injured is the best thing ohio state could've hoped for. They're getting raped no matter what so they can play the "wells was hurt when we lost" card later on.  Plus, SC might let their guard down a bit being that their best player is hurt and who knows?  Maybe they'll only win by 14.

I got 3 bills on the Buckeyes anyway. they wont win without Wells. The ace under my sleeve is sanchez. I can still cover if he is on his game.

My Heisman pick of Chase Daniel and Nationa title pick of Missouri is off to a very fast start.  Missouri has scored 52 or more points in every game and Chase is   64/89 980 yds  10 td's 1 int.  Today was impressive as Nevada at least stayed in the game with Texas Tech last week.   If that D keeps improving that will be hard for anyone including Oklahoma or Texas to beat.

Their D is improving against weak teams. Illinois put up 20 on Louisiana lafayette today. Oklahoma will beat Missouri again.

Purdue is laying the smack down on another pansy Pac 10 squad. it must be embarrassing to follow that conference.

I hate Mormon U, but this is hilarious. Is there a more overrated coach in the history of college football than Skippy Neuheisel?

I know Syracuse sucks but a kid from Downingtown Pa named Devlin came in and threw a couple of TDs for Penn State. My uncle has been telling me how good this kid is gonna be. He saw him play in HS. He`ll probably start for them next year. The only reason Clark is starting is that he had more experiance.

BYU-Utah may just wind up one of the years most important games...go figure.  Mid-major pool is crowded early on with ECU rallying today.

Fresno State may only seat about 44,000 fans but the way its set up. The fans are right on top of you. It sounds like 144,000.

The Badger players will hear things they have never heard before.

LOL. Those players are accustomed to America's drunkest college town. If they can deal with the drunken daily experience that is WI, they'll be fine.

We still have places that do $5 - All You Can Drink nights. I mean, seriously WTF?!?

Im just sayin dont let the size of the stadium fool you. Those boys are loud . They probably looked at the stadium and laugh but when the game starts it`ll be different.

I'm not surprised at all USC's up 21-3, but actually Ohio State's moving it a bit better than I thought they would, just the turnovers.

Auburn's offense is cartoonishly bad. And Alabama looking crappy against Tulane doesn't look as bad now that they almost beat ECU.

Edit-That definitely helps. OSU needs a TD drive.

Next week against Troy might be the time to make Pryor the starter for the Buckeyes to get him ready for the Big Ten season.

I sure as hell would. Don't know why he didn't leave him in tonight. Not saying they would have won. But they could have been more competetive and would have been pretty even in the first half at least.
